Keys to Health

Jumping on the beachMost of us assume that we will have good health! That ‘good health’ is a given, and when good health eludes us we have just been unlucky or that life is not fair! Unfortunately, that isn’t true!

The truth is that when we suffer bad health, it is usually because we haven’t been doing enough of the things required to stay healthy! So what is it that we should be doing?

A Healthy Lifestyle has six main ingredients. Without all of them our level of health suffers!

ADEQUATE REST

Our bodies need time to heal recover and repair- downtime! An engine that is on the redline all the time will eventually blow up!

EXERCISE

We are designed to move! If we don’t move, we will seize up, rot and die! We need to exercise our joints every-day! Take your joints through their full ranges of movement on a daily basis.

NUTRITION

The food we eat today is used by our body to create the living tissues of tomorrow! As a general rule, natural is best. The more processing, preservatives and additives, the worse it is for us! A balanced diet is not about balancing soft drink with chips!

A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

“If you think you can, you’re probably right! If you think you can’t, then you’re probably right again!” What we think about, we bring about! Positive people have healthier life outcomes then negative people. Concentrate on getting well and being well. Don’t be absorbed with how bad it is or how sick you are.

AN OPTIMALLY FUNCTIONING NERVOUS SYSTEM

For your body to be healthy, the co-ordination centre of the body (the brain) must be connected to all the parts of the body – without interference. Chiropractic adjustments reduce interference to the communication network within the body. This leads to improved function and better health!

YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Living in the right environment is a big factor for health. You wouldn’t survive too long in a lion cage, you wouldn’t last to well if you tried to live in a cess pit and living in Antarctica without thermal clothing might be detrimental to your health as well!

Chiropractic is concerned with ONLY ONE thing! To make sure your spine is functioning as optimally as possible, so as to allow the clearest possible neurological CONNECTION between your brain and body. This maximizes your potential for your Life Force to be fully expressed in every cell of your body, so that you can move consistently towards expressing your full potential in your health and your life! It’s just that simple!

Chiropractic care is like good nutrition, a good night’s sleep or going to the gym- it doesn’t have to treat something specifically, but it does help you have better overall health!
