At KEY Chiropractic we pride ourselves on providing a modern, scientific and evidence based approach to you problem.
To help us provide you with the highest standard of care, we follow a strict protocol as follows:
-
-
Initial Consultation
On your first visit we will spend time listening to you and getting to know you. We will ask a series of questions about your specific complaint and your lifestyle. This will ensure that you are in the right place.
-
Examination
Before we can commence helping you, we need to find out what the problem actually is! Your examination will include a complete orthopaedic and neurological assessment as is required. Depending on the results of these tests, you may be required to have x-rays of the spine, so we can ascertain the ‘health’ of your spine and identify any areas of degenerative change.
-
Report Of Findings
The “explanation” visit. Before commencing Chiropractic care, we will explain your problem to you. We will do this in easy to understand language. At this stage, you will be able to have all your questions answered. We want you to thoroughly understand your problem, and we will outline what needs to be done. Chiropractic care will usually commence on this visit.
-
Initial Intensive Care
The goal at this stage is to assist you in eliminating or reducing the majority of your discomfort, stabilising your initial complaint and health concerns.
-
Visits are frequent and regular, normally two to three per week.
-
Rehabilitation Care
Our object here is to correct the poor biomechanics that have resulted in your spinal problems, together we address the muscular and ligamentous imbalances, improve spinal function and promote healing of soft tissues.
Visits are less frequent, normally weekly or fortnightly.
-
Maintenance / Wellness Care
The majority of clients at Key Chriropractic choose wellness or supportive care for themselves and their families. Maintaining a proper functioning spine and nervous system may arrest small problems before they deteriorate and allow your body to express itself fully.
Clients will often choose a frequency of care that is consistent with the physical and mental stresses in their life; the choice is yours, whether it is monthly, fortnightly or weekly.
-
Regular visit
A regular visit (adjustment) doesn’t take long. These are the most important visits. This is where everything comes together, and we start changing your spine and nerve system. Each adjustment adds to the previous adjustment. Regular adjustments help restore spinal and nerve system function, leading to a reduction in symptoms and better health, vitality and well-being.
