Dr Scott had a fantastic time in Lombok with his daughter. They visited the waterfalls and did some snorkelling. Dr Scott will be flying to Sydney for his sister’s 60th birthday in January.
Claire has a new addition to the family … “Turbo” the terrier cross. She has been enjoying very early morning walks and training with him – he definitely has “terrier-tude”!
Kelly had a lovely Christmas with family. She is looking forward to a day trip to Rottnest this month with the kids.
Safer Care Victoria
The results of the Safer Care Victoria review of Chiropractic care for children are in!
An amazing 21,824 submissions were received. Mostly from parents who had taken their children for Chiropractic care. The majority had previously tried medical care.
A big thank you to those who took the time to make a submission.
The results of this ‘independent’ review (Despite of the honourable Jenny Mikakos -Victorian Minister for Health stating that Chiropractic care for children was appalling, deeply disturbing, young children and infants are being exposed to potential harm from risky practices) were overwhelmingly positive in support of the safety of Chiropractic care for children.
Of the 21,824 submissions:
- 7% reported a positive experience
- 98% said Chiropractic helped their child
- 1% said they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the information provided by their Chiropractor
- And 9% of respondents said they had sought care of their medical doctor previously for the same complaint Prior to seeing a Chiropractor.
